Welcome to Mercia Forest Crematorium

Mercia Forest Crematorium provides a natural setting for families living in Walsall, Wolverhampton and Cannock to hold a dignified and uniquely personal service of their choice.

Set in 10 acres of woodland grounds, the chapel building has been sympathetically designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape with the use of stone and natural materials.

Our beautiful memorial gardens have been landscaped with trees, lawns and flower sections blending into natural surroundings and offering a place of peace and tranquillity.

What makes Mercia Forest Crematorium different?

Mercia Forest Crematorium is a part of Westerleigh Group – the UK’s largest independent owner and operator of crematoria and cemeteries, with 39 sites in England, Scotland and Wales, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance which provide pleasant, peaceful places for people to visit and reflect.

At Westerleigh Group we provide exceptional care in a beautiful setting so that families can remember, mourn and celebrate the lives of their loved ones in a way that is uniquely personal.

Each year, approximately 60,000 families entrust us with the care of their loved one, yet thanks to our caring and compassionate colleagues and strong relationships with funeral directors, we are able to treat each service individually and provide exceptional level of care and standards.

We ensure that each service is delivered with respect and dignity to leave mourners with comforting memories from their loved one’s final journey.
